High body temperature, but the shivering cold sore is one characteristic of malaria. Once upon a time, once a malaria endemic and difficult to treat. Malaria parasites can not be killed just inactive alone. Therefore every moment of malaria may recur again. But along with the medical world and the discovery of new drugs that can kill the entire parasite plasmodium in total, now Malaria have decreased and not again become endemic.

Malaria is an infectious disease caused by a parasite known as Plasmodium. When a person is infected with the parasite, a person will develop symptoms of malaria which is usually a high fever, come and go every day or several days. How often the fever came back varies depending on each species of malaria.
Many infections do not show the classic pattern (fever) at all. In many people the symptoms of malaria infection will look more like the flu with high fever and body aches. Some people also complain of headaches, nausea, chills (cold), sweating, and weakness.
When the infection lasts less severe, the patient was cured. However, the infection can persist for many people for several years, especially for those who have a long history of the symptoms of malaria. People can develop immunity and may be infected for years while only rarely have symptoms of malaria.
